Sharpe's Triumph: Richard Sharpe and the Battle of Assaye, September 1803 is the second novel in Bernard Cornwell's acclaimed Richard Sharpe series. Set in British India in 1803, Sergeant Richard Sharpe becomes involved with Arthur Wellesley's campaign against the Mahratta forces and takes part in the siege of Ahmednuggur and the Battle of Assaye.
