Maharaja: The Spectacular Heritage of Princely India is a lavishly illustrated visual history of the Maharajas and princely states of India, focusing on their extraordinary lifestyles, palaces, ceremonies, treasures, families, and traditions. The book was first published by Thames & Hudson in 1988, with photographs by Japanese photographer Sumio Uchiyama and text by Andrew Robinson.

Rather than being a conventional political history, the book is primarily a visual portrait of princely India.
