The Last Kids on Earth and the Midnight Blade is the fifth book in The Last Kids on Earth series by Max Brallier. In this installment, Jack Sullivan discovers a powerful, ancient weapon known as the Midnight Blade. The blade offers Jack and his friends new advantages as they continue their fight against zombies, monsters, and a menacing villain named Thrull, who wants the blade for himself.

With the Midnight Blade, Jack learns more about his own abilities, but he also faces tough choices about how to wield its power responsibly. The story balances action-packed monster battles with humor and a strong focus on friendship and teamwork. As always, Douglas Holgate’s illustrations bring the characters and creatures to life, making the adventure feel even more engaging and fun.
