Store Visit - Vidhyashram School 2025

There is a unique kind of magic that fills a bookstore when children walk through the doors. Back in April 2025, we had the delight of hosting the students of Vidhyashram School for a special store visit and an engaging day of interactive learning activities.

For us at New Book World, welcoming students isn't just about showing them around bookshelves—it’s about creating an experience that sparks curiosity, sparks a love for reading, and makes books feel approachable and fun.

Highlights of the Visit

We designed a curated walkthrough and hands-on session tailored specifically to give the students an immersive peek into the world of literature and creativity:

• Behind-the-Scenes Store Tour: Walking the young readers through our different sections, from classic literature and children's stories to interactive stationery collections, explaining how books find their way onto our shelves.

• Interactive Storytelling & Games: Organizing fun group challenges and book-finding games that encouraged the students to explore different genres and collaborate with their classmates.

• Creative Station: Engaging the kids in hands-on activities that let them express their artistic side and take home fun keepsakes from their visit.

Why Experiential Learning Matters

In a digital age, giving children a physical space to touch pages, discover new titles, and experience a community hub firsthand leaves a lasting impression. Seeing the students' eyes light up as they discovered new stories was a wonderful reminder of why we love what we do.

Looking Ahead

Hosting Vidhyashram School was a highlight for our entire team, reminding us of our core promise to serve as a home for learning, creativity, and community engagement in Jodhpur.

We extend our sincere thanks to the management and teachers of Vidhyashram School for trusting us with their students, and to the energetic young visitors who brought so much life and enthusiasm into our store that day. We look forward to welcoming many more schools and young book lovers through our doors!
