Book Meet up april 2026

There is something truly irreplaceable about a room full of readers gathered together to share the stories that moved them. In April 2026, we opened our doors at New Book World to host a community Book Meetup, bringing together local book lovers, avid readers, and thinkers for an afternoon of lively literary discussion.

As a bookstore, our ultimate goal has always been to build a space where literature isn't just sold—it's experienced, debated, and celebrated.

Highlights of the Meetup

Our April meetup brought together a diverse group of participants—from long-time patrons to new faces—creating a warm, open environment centered around a shared passion for books:

• Open-Floor Book Discussions: Participants shared their recent favorite reads, exchanged recommendations across genres, and reflected on themes ranging from fiction to personal growth.

• Curated Literary Exchange: Attendees brought along copies of books that shaped their thinking, leading to spontaneous book swaps and fresh reading lists for everyone.

• Storytelling & Reflections: A dedicated segment where readers shared personal anecdotes, favorite book quotes, and the impact specific authors have had on their journeys.

• Community Networking: Giving readers in Jodhpur a dedicated, comfortable space to connect with fellow bibliophiles over warm coffee and conversation.

Why Community Meetups Matter

In an era dominated by quick digital interactions, face-to-face conversations about ideas, perspectives, and storytelling hold immense value. A book meetup offers a rare opportunity to step back, listen deeply, and discover new viewpoints through the lens of literature.

Seeing readers engage in passionate discussions across our bookshelves was a powerful reminder of the active, vibrant literary community growing right here in Jodhpur.

Gratitude & Future Gatherings

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, shared their stories, and contributed to making our April 2026 meetup such a success. Your enthusiasm and love for books are what keep the spirit of New Book World thriving.
